Malvern Festival -
2007

Vale Pianos recently provided the grand piano for the Malvern Festival, held at Malvern Priory.

BBC Good Homes Show -
2007

Vale Pianos had a successful first visit to the BBC Good Homes Show held at the NEC in Birmingham, Summer 2007. We had a good display of acoustic, digital and PianoDisc player pianos on display.

Summer Floods -
2007

The floods over the summer of 2007 had a devastating affect on our local area. Many pianos were sadly ruined by the flood water in peoples homes. We were called upon to rescue pianos from flooded homes and we have been working closely with insurance companies to bring about a satisfactory outcome for our customers. It has been an extremely busy time, but at last people are starting to move back into their homes and return to a normal way of life.

Upton Jazz Festival-
2007

The Upton Jazz Festival took place again this year and just about avoided the serious flooding that was to come, but it was still badly hit by rain. The event was very successful though and Vale Pianos provided the pianos and tuning services for the weekend festival.

KAWAI AWARD -
2007

Vale Pianos won the 2006 Kawai Dealer of the Year award in Frankfurt, for the most upright acoustic piano sales. Kawai have a great family heritage of building pianos of fine quality and excellent value. This year they celebrated their 80th Anniversary.

Two of our technicians also attended a master class on grand piano preparation, presented by one of Kawai’s much respected Master Piano Artisans.

Muse -
2006
The Internationally acclaimed rock band. Their new album ‘Black Holes and Revelations’ went straight to number 1 in the UK album chart. Vale Pianos designed and made 2 piano cases for their 2 year world tour. They use Kawai MP-8 stage pianos which have been built into our custom made white piano cases.

France Trip -
2006
Our quality is well known throughout the country and we have recently delivered a piano to Paris.

Cheltenham Philharmonic Orchestra -
2006
At the Number 8 theatre in Pershore – we supplied the piano for this concert, which was in aid of ‘The Tracy Solis Leukaemia Trust’.

Upton Jazz Festival -
2006
Vale Pianos again supplied 6 hire pianos for this popular annual event, celebrating it’s 22nd year. This is also Craig’s 22nd year of tuning at the Jazz Festival.

Frankfurt Musikmesse -
April 2006
Vale Pianos were presented with the Kawai ‘Dealer of the Year’ award – this time for most acoustic piano sales in 2005. Vale Pianos have now been awarded the Kawai ‘Dealer of the Year’ award in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005. The Frankfurt event was bigger than ever this year with over 100,000 visitors and 1,561 exhibitors.

Autumn Show 2006
Vale Pianos displayed a large selection of digital and acoustic pianos and also offered free piano lessons throughout the weekend.

THREE CHOIRS FESTIVAL -

A prestigous event held at Worcester Cathedral. Vale Pianos provided two Schimmel grand pianos for the various performances.

KAREN MULCAHY PIANO TEACHING AWARDS '05 SPONSORED BY VALE PIANOS -

Vale Pianos sponsored several awards for high achieving students of Cardiff based piano teacher Karen Mulcahy. The awards ceremony took the format of a performance day which was a great success. Kawai grand piano supplied by Vale Pianos.

Visit to Kawai Piano Factories, Japan -
June 2004
At the beginning of June 2004 Craig and three other Kawai dealers from the UK were honoured to be invited to the Kawai piano factories in Hamamatsu, Japan. They were given a guided tour of both the upright and grand piano factories. It was surprising to see how few people work in the factories as most of the processes are carried out by computer controlled machinery. However skilled technicians are still employed for regulating, tuning and voicing.
