Samick Reid-Sohn

Reid-Sohn pianos are manufactured by the Samick Musical Instruments group, established in 1958. Their pianos are created by world-renowned German scale designer, Klaus Fenner, with the aim of producing a warm European voice.

Samick are a large Korean company who manufacture pianos in Korea and Indonesia. Samick has acquired part ownership in Bechstein, the well known German manufacturer of pianos, in 2002 and in 2008, Samick acquired Seiler, another German manufacturer. More recently they have acquired shares in Steinway and plan to increase their share in the company in the future.
